June

[4 June 2019]

June,
and construction noise mingles with the smell of donuts and car exhaust and slips down the alleyway between the church and the brothel and fan out across the highways and the lakes and the fields and the chrysanthemums bloom out from underneath the manhole cover on 23rd Street.

  1. When I begin to read and I understand how you play with your words… it is of course a magic wand because I have no other explanation…
you and your words I dream about
to buy one day between two binders…
    Enjoy your day.

      1. I do long rambling poems. I am terrible at short. But that’s okay, I like to ramble, and I like to read short. This one is so brilliant. I love summery, smell and sense poetry. At least in the summer. In winter, I like things that make me think of the cold, or warm fires. πŸ˜€
